A few months back I had the honor to meet fellow bloggers at an event in Chicago called BlogHer’13. We also had the chance to connect with companies and their products. One in company in particular whose concept caught my eye was PercyVites. The founder and President Julie Steiner shares her inspirational story here. 


So what makes this company so unique?  

The concept of being able to intertwine the child's names and other personalized facts into a video staring your child!  The ones receiving the video will enjoy seeing familiar places and even places too. 


 I recommend this program to any mother, grandmother or aunt who wants the opportunity to make a birthday, family event or celebration extra magical. I remember as a young girl watching Mr. Roger’s and desperately wishing he would talk to me say my name. How cool would it be so see your name in a cartoon?
I enjoyed using the program to send out "Thank You" emails to all who attended my son’s 11th Birthday party. It was a very memorable gift to all who came. I found the site easy to follow, which is a big plus when you’re trying something new.
PercyVites has a fun and colorful website atmosphere. With easy step-by-step instructions that give you the opportunity to check out anything they have before making your final choice on cartoon characters or invitation types. Plus it let’s you know what number of step your on and how many more to go. So take the chance to check out this newest innovative and creative way t make a day extra special with PercyVites today!

I was given the opportunity to try PercyVites as “Thank You” notes after my son’s birthday. I was kind of apprehensive at first as to what it would be, but the more I looked over the site I could see that it was very user friendly, and easy to navigate.
There are different themes to choose from and different things to send. I had already invited people to the party, so the invitation format I didn't need.  I used their "Thank You" templates. It was easy to download the picture off my computer and drop it in the area provided. And I was so happy to see a place for a general message for all as well as a place to personalize each thank you note that was sent. 


 A perfect way to be specific about the gift that child brought. It was really easy and very affordable.I'm sure there will be more characters and themes, as PercyVites becomes a program that people will use more often.Thank you for giving me the chance to use  PercyVites.

I have a touch screen tablet that I use for a lot of things including cooking.  I normally don't get spills on my tablet, but I get plenty of finger prints on the screen while trying out new recipes.:-)  When I'm done cooking I always know where to find my Spudz fabric square, which is conveniently attached to my key ring.

Right from the start I already liked them due to the cute, chevron design. It’s so modern and fresh. I don’t mind having it dangle from my keychain or purse because it’s an adorable print. Sweat, oil, residue, you name it was covered with a nice film on my glasses. Gross I know. So I began rubbing one lense for a few seconds. Next, I put them up against the light to compare with the dirty one. Sure enough it was crystal clear. It was pretty cool how you didn’t need an additional cleanser to get that type of shine! Being a busy mom of two, this is so convenient to just pull down the wipe from the little bag and give them a quick rub. Wish I had this sooner!

I am enjoying the sweet convenience of my travel sized  micro fiber cleaner from SPUDZ.  I used it chain. frequently on my iPhone screen, my iPad and recently I  used it  to wipe finger prints from my sunglasses. 
I love that it has it's own pouch which is connected to the cloth. You can just "put it away" when your done. This way, it never gets dropped, taken or misplaced.  I have mine on a keychain, I love the good selection of colors and patterns.  It's also washable.  I washed mine in a garment bag in the washer, this is a nice convienent feature.  The SPUDZ is a great handy tool for all moms to have with touch pad electronics.

This is a product for anyone who uses a camera, a phone, laptop; Pretty much anyone with a smudged screen. I love the fact that I can attach it to my keychain and just pull it out to clean up my son's finger prints on the Tablet or on my phone without having to use an extra chemical spray. With Christmas just around the corner, These Spudz pouches make the cutest little Gifts, with so many designs and colors to choose from. What is a KoolSpoon?  It is more than just the name.  It is a product that will quite possibly replace the ice dropped into your children’s hot bowls of soup. And save the lightheaded moms from passing out on the table because of continued blowing to cool down the anxiously awaited first bite of steamy soup. I simply placed a KoolSpoon in my freezer for a few minute giving the “magic Gel” a chance to set.  And place the spoon in the soup and the bite is instantly cooled. I liked that the handle is sturdy and not frozen nor cold on my fingers.   My kids complain of watered down soups far too much.  I feel this is a great invention for busy moms.  It saves time with out having to cool every ones soup and the thicker handle is great from smaller hands to hold.                                                                    Stephanie Goodman (Mom of 3 and 2 bonus sons)                                         

I remember as I little girl never wanting to eat my Dad's famous soups, soups to me as a little active girl seem like a never ending task, which i had to accomplish, before being allowed to get up from the table. The Horror of having to blow each spoon just drove me crazy. So my excitement was pure upon receiving the KoolSpoon in my hands, I knew that just like me as I little girl, My little Anita also struggle with having to blow spoon after spoon, to cool down my own Delicious Soups. To my 5 year old Girl that KoolSpoon, was not only appealing because of its fun color and texture, but it amazed her to see that with each scoop her soup was automatically cooled down.

Soup isn’t something that kids are ever very enthusiastic to eat and tonight was no exception. Except that we had Koolspoon and everyone wanted to try it out! I love how quickly it cools down your food without getting it too cold. I especially love that I don’t have to add ice to the kids’ food anymore, which always makes it watery and bland. But the best part is that I don’t have to blow four bowls of soup, one for each kid. Instead I get to eat my own soup pipping hot like I love it while they cool their own soup down. Anything to make my kids more independent, the better. It is an ingenious product for sure! These past two weeks I had the pleasure of reviewing a product called the Kool Spoon. As the mom of two very busy and impatient boys I thought this product might help me and my family. They LOVE noodle soup, canned ravioli’s and cup of soup. As much as they love to eat it they equally HATE to wait for the food to cool off. The first time we used the KoolSpoon was for an after school snack of noodle soup. The KoolSpoon had been in the freezer overnight. We set the KoolSpoon into the bowl and stirred it around. After about a minute we tasted the food. It was still pretty hot but had definitely cooled down. We tried eating the food with the KoolSpoon and that worked to cool the food off really well also. The other thing I really liked was that getting to use the KoolSpoon made my kids eat more slowly since they were “playing” with it.  It worked really well and I would recommend this product to my family and friends.

After putting ice cubes in soups to pacify ravenous children and watering down the soup so much that it left them unsatisfied, the KoolSpoon really piqued my interest. It is made of a hard plastic that is filled with gel inside the bowl of the spoon. You put it in the freezer and use it to cool down your soup or other hot foods or drinks. The handle doesn’t freeze so it doesn’t hurt your fingers. Soup weather is fast approaching and I tested the KoolSpoon out myself to make sure it was okay for my kids to use afterwards. It froze in about 25 minutes and it worked just fine. I counted 3-5 seconds and that seemed to cool it down sufficiently. I really loved the KoolSpoon! With 5 Kids the last thing I have in my hands is time, Time seems to fly so fast that it truly makes all the difference in the world to let my 3 year old feed himself without having to sit next to him and blow on the soup, time after time. The Temperature of the soup gets cool down upon being scooped up by the KoolSpoon. The nice thing, is that even tough it cools down the soup, the handle of the spoon will not freeze your little ones hands. The KoolSpoon also came in handy, when I was eating my cereal and milk, it kept the milk nice and cool. To me the price of $8.00 per spoon is well worth the value it brings into my home. I recommend this product to any mother wanting to add a little more time to her schedule, even wanting to sit side by side next to her family and enjoy a meal at the same time as everyone else.

As moms we're always giving back and don't ever think twice when doing so, it's something that makes us even better Supermoms, it's in our nature. For our first Supermomtested Community Service Project we are so excited to be announcing our first Diaper Drive for a Utah Supermom that gave birth to Quintuplets. Now talk about been a Superwoman, right!.

Which Gum will you Choose to Chew?

 When I’m doing house work and I want some gum to keep my senses company through the day,  
 I wonder which store bought brands have the best long lasting chewing flavor.  Which of these actually live up to their commercials? 
Let SuperMomTested put the chewing gum to the test.
 For this video we bought 6 different gum packages, two of which were bubble gum brands.
We timed our chewing from the moment it was in our mouthes, till the flavor was gone and ready to be replaced.
We recorded our time and this was our results.

We asked the question,
"Which chewing gum has the longest lasting flavor?"
Orbit
Trident
Bubblicious
Stride
Hubba Bubba
Extra Gum
The results were incredible
and our first video was so fun to make!
