If you happen to be in Utah, you wont want to miss this amazing event happening this weekend,  Dia de los Muertos, or in English, the Day of the Dead, is a tradition celebrated through much of Latin America and Communities Worldwide. 

During the Day of the Dead, Families will gather and celebrate the life of those loved ones that have passed on by remembering and honoring them. Families in Latin American Countries will usually gather around the grave of their loved one who has passed on and bring (ofrendas) which usually include photos, favorite foods, flowers and treasured mementos. 

The Dia de Los Muertos event at Thanksgiving Point, promises to bring you a culture filled event for the whole community. They have an amazing lined up of entertainers and traditional folk dancers, come and taste delicious food, visit the local artisans and see all the beautifully decorated altars. Visit the Children's corner, where your kids will learn the art of Papel Picado, Flower Making and Skull decorating. Get your face painted like a (Calaberita) and experience the sights and sounds of Dia de Los Muertos.
