Plantains are a great treat for those with a very sweet tooth. If you have never eaten plantains, give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

Serving Suggestion: Serve with eggs, chips and sour cream

Cut ripe plantains in two to three sections. Cut off the ends. 

First, peel plantains by cutting along side with a knife.
Then grab side and peel back.

Cut into thin slices

Heat oil in a frying pan at medium high heat.  Fry until golden brown.

Place on paper towel to absorb oil. Serve them hot!
