The majority has spoken and this weeks Tipsy Tuesday is going to be on HAIR!!!
First off let me introduce myself. I'm Noelle and I've been a hair stylist for 8 years. It's a passion of mine and I enjoy sharing my knowledge with anyone who will listen! (Even if the only person is my husband).
One Super Mom commented that her hair was breaking so I decided to do a post on hair care hoping this will answer her questions and solve the problem.
One of the keys to healthy hair is hydration and there are many things that can hydrate or dehydrate your hair.
Hydrating:
*Washing your hair 2-3 times a week, but I have noticed a big difference in my hair only washing it twice a week. So, I would shoot for twice a week.
-Your scalp produces oils that protect your hair and washing it too often strips your scalp of the oils and doesn't give your hair time to soak it up.
*Scalp and deep conditioning treatments once a week.- The scalp treatment helps get rid of dead skin on the scalp and brings the natural oils further down the hair. Deep conditioning treatment helps replace the moisture you've lost over the past week.

*Putting products in your hair before any thermal styling tool (blow dryer, curling iron, flat iron, hot rollers, crimper, curling wand, ect.) is used. The product creates a barrier so you don't lose nearly as much moisture as you would with out it and it protects your hair from burning.
-Leave in conditioner doesn't count as a thermal protecting product, but is good to use and can be put on before the other products.
