Plantains are a great treat for those with a very sweet tooth. If you have never eaten plantains, give them a try. You won't be disappointed!
| Serving Suggestion: Serve with eggs, chips and sour cream |
| Cut ripe plantains in two to three sections. Cut off the ends. |
| First, peel plantains by cutting along side with a knife. |
| Then grab side and peel back. |
| Cut into thin slices |
| Heat oil in a frying pan at medium high heat. Fry until golden brown. |
| Place on paper towel to absorb oil. Serve them hot! |
