SuperPowers of a Mom

I can attest to the SuperPowers of an influential mom.  I always looked to my mom as a superhero beyond what she could even see in herself.  She seemed to have all the answers, I knew she would put her life on the line to protect me from anything, and yet like Clark Kent, she wore normal clothes, spoke nothing of her heroic acts of kindness, sacrifice and protection.

At SuperMomTested.com we focus on educating, embracing and empowering mothers nationwide.   We have a team of REAL moms who share their tried and tested experience with parenting or products used in their homes.  This way we can learn from each other’s experiences.
You will find on our blog weekly articles and reviews which will include a weekly giveaway.

Here is a video about us.
We are in the business of empowering moms, and believe that a positive change in the world starts within the walls of our own home.  Under the guidance of parents who love, embrace and understand the amazing potential within our children.

We are tested everyday with a myriad of things.  Our children emulate what they see.  They see how we treat ourselves.  Our actions are more powerful than any words or outside influences.

So, how do we stop the negative self-comparisons?

Know and Treasure the Beautiful Woman in the Mirror

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.  We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented or fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?”
How would our lives be different if we all could recognize and embrace our ultimate potential? When we live our highest potential; imagine the things we could accomplish by loving our family, friends and strangers.

The reflection in the mirror knows you better than anyone in the entire world!  You have been together since birth!  So why do we think so cruelly about ourselves.
“I look horrible today!” Why can’t I look more like her?” These thoughts are self-defeating.

To emphasize my point, let me share a lesson learned from my friend Amy Walker
"We are kinder to strangers than to our friends, kinder to friends than to our family members, kinder to family members than we are to our spouses.  And we are kinder to our spouses than even our selves.

We criticize ourselves more than anyone else.  How can we expect our children to act differently?  It starts with our actions of self-love.   Which may influence our children and friends to love themselves. You may see things with a sweeter look on life… all because you are a beautiful soul.

Never Under Estimate the Power of Affirmations

We are who we think we are.  Words are powerful.  When we focus on absorbing powerful words into our minds, we recognize and see things differently.  Don’t drown in self-criticism.

 Seek Ways to Serve Others

Magic happens when we forget about ourselves by serving others.  And our worries are temporarily forgotten. We become instruments of good and bless others lives with our abilities.

And Ladies… don’t forget to have fun!  Have a party, invite your friends to celebrate birthdays and other important events. Celebrate your victories!
Remember “Thank You” notes, everyone appreciates one. PercyVites is a wonderful resource for you. And for a limited time you can send a  FREE Holiday Greeting with Caillou to friends and family with your child's picture in the video!
