Pizza
(Gluten Free – Egg Free – Dairy Free)
Ingredients:
1 (1/4 oz) package active yeast
Pinch of sugar
3/4 Cup warm
water
1 Cup brown rice
flour
1 Cup oat flour
1/2 Cup
cornstarch
1 teaspoon
xanthan gum
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons
olive oil
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 475 F.
- Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water in a bowl. Let
stand until foamy, about 10 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the yeast and mix well by
hand until you get a ball in the center of the bowl. Dough will be wet and sticky. Wash hands and don’t dry.
- Transfer dough to greased pizza pan and stretch gently to
fit pan. Keep your hands wet so it doesn’t stick.
- Cover with plastic wrap and let it stand for about 30
minutes, optional.
- Arrange your favorite fillings on top of dough (I used
spaghetti sauce, chopped onions, cubed green bell pepper, ground Italian
sausage, and pepperoni).
- Place on lowest shelf in an electric oven and bake for 15
minutes until crust is brown and crispy.
Makes one medium large thin crust pizza!
