1. Vinegar
2. Baking soda
3. Hot water from the sink
* Pull the drain plug out
* Pour baking soda. And then vinegar let the natural reaction do it's thing.
* Using an old toothbrush scrub the Paste and loosen the grime.
* Rinse with hot water.
Now your drain plug will be good as new.
Now your drain plug will be good as new.

Oh my goodness! Our shower stopped draining and we tried everything! Then we threw this down and then it drained again!
ReplyDeleteI see all this stuff about baking soda being good for drains. Quite, and along with vinegar, you've got a fairly handy combo. Though blockage can be a bit more complicated. Sometimes it's the routing of the pipes, sometimes it's the layout of the drainage system. In which case, if this involves a larger errant set-up, then best to call upon professionals to rejig the whole thing from the ground up, so it wouldn't have to bother anyone again.
